One of the things we did while on our way home from Bend was to stop at Petersen's Rock Garden. Sentimental motivations will often get you to do unusual things. And what was the sentimental reason? Recognize this guy? (For those of you who don't, it's George Smith aka Grandpa Smith to those of my generation.) Looks a bit different some 48 years later--but not much!
