We all squished in to Cal and Cathy's dining room (okay, there was a bit of edging into the living room) for mom's 71st birthday. Go, mom!

Of course the kids wanted to help with the candles.....


And, we got a little Halloween preview when we went over for our first glimpse of Sean:
