Thanks mom for contributing your news-at least the women of the family are keeping up with each other. If we could get the in-laws going perhaps we could all keep up to date.

We had a great time over the weekend camping at Memaloose State Park. We went on two hikes before Cal hurt his back. I think he got some good pictures on the hike and if I can ever figure out what is wrong with our web site, I will have to get them posted up there. One of the hikes was on a re-opened section of the old Columbia River Highway. They have restored two of the tunnels, trying to make them as authentic as possible. There is even the preservation of a note scratched into the wall made by some motorists who were trapped there in the tunnel during a snowstorm in 1921.

So mom, since I have been getting after you do your life history, did you save what you prepared?
