Enjoyed your posts Cathy and Ann. We still read the Blog ~ Audrey's 5th birthday is tomorrow! We will be making some preparations for her Fiesta today.
Kerry purchased the last of the wainscot from Home Depot after FHE for Mom & Dean's house - this is the part that goes from the entry to the downstairs. We hope he is able to install most all of it today (not during the party). He did mow the jungle outside yesterday before the heat wave of 85+ hit us. That helped a lot. Kerry is the final candidate at a job with PGE (Portland General Electric). We were hoping his background check and previous supervisors would have all been called by yesterday - however, we received no call for the final step. So we are waiting for that. It has and continues to be busy around these parts. Kerry and his Valiant 9 class taught Sharing Time on Sunday (for the first time) and did a fantastic job. As I sat with the rest of the Presidency it was entertaining to hear their ooo's and ahhhh's about everything he did. Tonight I am required to go to the Pinewood Derby and then some visiting teaching afterward. I hope that either Kerry or I will be back on here soon to announce the BIG NEWS of hopefully the finality of this job. We haven't exploded with excitement because this is exactly where we were with Extensis (the company that first offered a job to us last Spring). So, until all is final ~ you can wait patiently too.
