Greetings & Salutations

Mona and I talked earlier last week and decided we needed to go to the park down the street from their place. Audrey, being out of school, makes for an easier schedule. We were able to get together on Friday. We enjoyed lunch and then went on a walk to nearby, Home Depot, for a little venture. Little Ryan managed to get a nice blister so as soon as we were near grass, we all took our shoes off and walked to the play area barefoot. (Ryan wouldn't have it any other way). I'd also like to note that Mona carried him on her back part of the way--what a loving auntie. (This mama does that way too much-and my back isn't quite what it used to be). The triplets (twins + Ashlynn) all had a grand time giggling in the swings while Audrey and Ryan ran around trying everything in sight. We had a lovely time and look forward to our next outing to the zoo sometime in the next little while...

Saturday, while Mona had some errands and appointments, Alan meandered over to our place with Tyler and Chloe. He and Kerry went shopping and puchased wood. They set to work on the playhouse and I enjoyed the triplets so very much. Audrey and Ryan couldn't keep track of who was who.... I invited Grandma Peden over - and she enjoyed using up her film and just loving her little grandchildren in these parts. We all ate lunch - Grandma left - and Kerry and Alan continued working away. Mona came over after she finished and we enjoyed some down time. They finished a good day's worth of work. The 8x10 floor is complete and they also framed all four 6ft walls. I'm not sure if the kid's really realize how much they accomplished, but I do and I am tickled pink. What a great thing to watch two brothers work together. We don't get to see Alan often with his busy schedule..but this playhouse we will see Kerry and his handiwork every day. What a great family you are -

We hope you all are having a great summer! Love the Washougaliens
