Hi All

I was able to go to the Oregon Coast with my friend Peter on July 4th and we went to Manzanita and to Rockaway.Our day started out in Manzanita where we went to a pancake breakfast that was held at the fire station after that we watched the parade that went though down town Manzanita and Iwas surprised for being a small town that the parade lasted for one hour.During the parade those who were in it though out a lot of candy.The parade was a lot of fun.After the parade Peter and I went to the Nehalem Bay winery for a free lunch.They had hamburgers and hot dogs to eat.From there we went to Rockaway and walked around in the different shops there.After doing that we went and sat on a bench over looking the ocean and the beach was crowded with people and I then headed back to Manzanita to watch the fireworks that were being shot off from the beach.We had some time before they were to shoot off the fireworks so went to the city park to see what it was like and was a small park and after doing that we went and had dinner.Then we went down to the beach for the fireworks and before the big firewoks went off we saw lots of people on the beach shooting of their fireworks.At 10:00 they shot off the big fireworks.It was late when we got home from the beach that night.I had a great time at the beach.There was another year where Peter and I went to Lincoln City to watch fireworks being shoot off from the beach and that was a lot of fun as well.
