Hi All
Went to the Oregon coast again August 19 and I went to Tillamook and I went by my self. I went to cape Meares lighthose which is not far from Tillamook and able to go in side the light house and there was a person there who told about the lighthouse and that was fun. I had been to that lighthouse before with my friend Peter but that time the ligthouse was not open to see inside. From there I went to the Tillamook Air museum which is housed in a big hanger that was built during world war 2 for big balloons and there was the Tillamook Navel Air Base right next to the hanger. The hanger and Air Base are now owned by the port of Tillamook. There was a lot of different things to see and a movie that talked about the hangers in fact there were two hangers at one time. Hanger A burned down to the ground in 1992 and at the time it did hanger A was storing lots of hay. The things I was able to see were diffrent kinds of airplanes, lots of army stuff like a jeep, search lights, army tentand I also saw diffrent jet engines that they had. This was just some of the things I saw while there. The hanger where the museum was sure was big. That was fun to go and see. While down at the Beach I really did not walk along the beach and by time I did theses other things I really did not have the time to walk along the beach. this is one of the places i really like going to is to the beach.I had a great time at the beach even with not walking along the beach. Jeff
