Hi Cathy,

Sorry to be slow in responding. I've put together a slideshow of Afton's first year, but Shannon took her to get a portrait done, and I'd like to include that. Unfortunately, the portrait won't be ready for a couple of weeks. Wal Mart may be cheap, but they're not fast.

I think she had a good birthday. She got a couple of toys that Ethan and Gerrit played with enthusiastically. She also likes cake pretty well. She has been sick lately, though, so she hasn't been quite as sweet as normal. She basically stiff-arms anybody who comes near except Shannon.

We had fun watching the BYU-Utah football game on Saturday. It was a good one, and even turned out the right way. You can see the crazy fan created highlight video here in case you missed the game:

The video kind of makes it look like BYU dominated, but it was actually very close and came down to a last play as the clock expired.
